We are blessed with the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor lagoon. The lagoon over 18km long is virtually enclosed by sandy beaches. Many small resorts have been established along its shore offering any visitor everything they would like from a beach holiday.
Watersports ranging from yachts and jetskis to diving and snorkeling and for the more adventurous infamous banana boat rides. You can of course just sit on the beach and soak up the sun and relax. We have locations for families, couples and those who want to party, although serious partiers will need to travel to specific locations.

If you want space on a beach we have long wide beaches. If you want a beer, gin and tonic or just a coffee most beaches have bars on them known locally as "Chiringuitos". Bring your buckets and spades, towels and inflatables. The water is inviting, the Mar Menor is shallow and children will have a great time.
With over 300 days each year of sunshine you can enjoy the sun most of the year. Even in January you can eat and drink outside and usually for a few hours a day feel the warmth of the sun soak away the stresses and strains of life.
