Properties in Los Nietos

Los Nietos is a small village located on the Mar Menor. It is mostly undeveloped for tourism and the local fishermen still go out early in the morning to this day to catch fish to supply to local restaurants and markets Although it remains largely unspoilt, there are still a few very nice restaurants and one or two bars. There is a long promenade that you can walk along to take in the beautiful views across the Mar Menor. During the summer months, there is a weekly market with a great selection of locally caught fish and locally grown produce. There is also a small supermarket where you can buy all your basic grocery requirements. There is a train station here too so you can catch the train into La Union or Cartagena. The price to take the train is very cheap so it is a great way to discover this historical city. The marina area moors quite a few boats and there is a restaurant/cafe here which is open to non members so you can enjoy lunch or dinner here.
