Properties in Playa Honda

Playa Honda is a village which is located close to the bottom of the Mar Menor. It is mostly flat making a great spot for walkers and cyclists. There is a long promenade on which you can walk along and take in the wonderful views across the water to La Manga strip. You can also hire a pedal boat in peak months or you may prefer to hire a sunbed and relax The beach has lovely fine sand and edges the calm shallow waters of the Mar Menor. The area is enjoyed by many visitors in the summer. Outside of the summer the area is quieter but there are more people each year discovering the beauty of the area along with the mild winter temperatures. There are a few cafe/bars, small supermarket and pharmacy. This is a family orientated area with some childrens play areas. Playa Honda is on a bus route to Cartagena so for anyone not wanting to rent a car, you can get out and about. A great base for a beach holiday and within 20 minutes of a shopping centre, historical city and many other activities. You can choose whether you want to relax or make your holiday a fun filled activity break with nearby activities such as golf, sailing, horse riding, go karting or tennis.
